Getting children back into school after emergencies
As part of our global efforts, we reached over 143 million children in 120 countries in 2013.
Save the Children works around the world to assist children in times of emergency, provide access to healthcare and quality education and to protect children from abuse and neglect. Find out more about what we do to create better lives for children.
Present in the Philippines for over three decades, Save the Children implements programs in 3 main regions: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. We're delivering programs for Filipino children which gives them a better education and easier access to healthcare, supports them during emergencies while also educating communities on disaster preparedness. We also support children's rights and lobby the government on subjects such as corporal punishment.
