Corporate Partnerships

Our partners work closely with Save the Children to help us address the needs of the vulnerable children in the Philippines and around the world.

Save the Children and IKEA have been working together for almost two decades now. In its role as a children's organization, Save the Children was instrumental in the development of IKEA's policy against child labour.

Since 2003, IKEA has been running its Soft Toys for Education campaign worldwide. For every soft toy purchased during the Christmas season, money is donated to help Save the Children and UNICEF educate children. In 2012, the IKEA Foundation funded Save the Children's education projects in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lithuania, Myanmar, the Philippines and Romania.

For twenty years, Johnson & Johnson has joined with Save the Children in the important work we do for some of the most vulnerable children and mothers in the world. In 2014, Johnson & Johnson made a new multi-million dollar, multi-year commitment to Save the Children that covers core mission support, program support to improve newborn survival and early childhood development, and the donation of products.

In addition, Johnson & Johnson continues to support Save the Children in non-monetary ways, including through advocacy thought leadership, media and awareness building, and employee engagement, among others.

Save the Children works with Accenture in equipping adolescents in countries like Egypt, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh and China, with the life skills they need to get a job or start a business.

Through our "Skills to Succeed" programs, we aim to train 44,000 adolescents by 2015. We'll also strengthen links between training providers, private sector employers, and government to create more training and job placement opportunities, and lead on building a global coalition for youth employment.

In addition to supporting our work with cash grants, Accenture also donates the time and skills of their talented global workforce in several locations around the world.

Through its Prudence Foundation, Prudential has made a three-year commitment to support Save the Children's work in the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam - focusing on early childhood care and education, as well as literacy and numeracy skills.

In addition, we are also working together to improve disaster preparedness in disaster-prone areas in Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia - making schools a safer place and ensuring there is sufficient knowledge and preparedness within schools and communities to cope with disaster.

Reckitt Benckiser

In 2013, we announced a new global focus to our existing partnership with Reckitt Benckiser, which includes a goal to reduce the devastating global death rate in children under five from diarrhoea - a preventable illness - by 2020.

As part of the partnership, Reckitt Benckiser have invested funds where it will have real impact – in research, product innovation and long-term behaviour change.

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)

We have an ambitious partnership with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to save the lives of one million of the poorest children in the world. This unique collaboration enables us to share expertise, resources, reach and influence to tackle some of the leading causes of childhood deaths.

For the first time, Save the Children is involved in helping GSK research and develop medicines for children, which will help accelerate progress on innovative life-saving interventions for children under five, and identify ways to ensure the widest possible access in developing countries.

GSK is also leveraging our child health expertise and experience to reach children in the most remote and marginalised communities with basic healthcare. Our partnership is currently running two flagship programs in Sub Saharan Africa – Democratic Republic of Congo and Kenya.
