About The Project:
Project PRIDE (Protection, Respect, Inclusion, Diversity & Equality) for Children of diverse SOGIESC
Save the Children believes that all children deserve to be treated with respect. Unfortunately, many Filipino children with diverse sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) continue to experience violence and discrimination in many spaces, including their home and schools. Project PRIDE, a pilot project by Save the Children Philippines in partnership with GALANG PH, aims to promote the protection and inclusion of children with diverse SOGIESC in national and local legislative and executive policies; capacity building and programming of child-rights organizations and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA+) organizations; and within families and children/youth organizations in communities. This Project PRIDE will be implemented from 2023 until
2025 in Quezon City.
